How to enable private listening
Private session lets you listen privately without sharing your listening activity.
When it's on:
- Your listening doesn't appear in Friends Activity
- Your recently played artists don't update on your profile
- Your listening isn't used to personalize recommendations while the session is active
Private session is an account-level setting. Turning it on from one device applies it across all your devices, including TVs, speakers, and other connected devices.
Private session turns off automatically after 6 hours, or when you restart the app.
Note: Private session only affects what you listen to while it’s on. Listening during a Private session won’t affect your recommendations or appear in your Wrapped.
