Control what plays with the Now Playing view.

You can play, pause, and skip tracks as standard. You can also:

What it does

Save Add or Save

Saves a song or episode to your Liked Songs or Your Episodes playlist in Your Library.

Saved Saved

Shows or songs that are Saved in any of your playlists, including your Liked Songs or Your Episodes playlist in Your Library.

Tip: Tap to add the saved song or episode to another playlist.

Shuffle Shuffle

Mix up the order of what’s playing.

Repeat album, playlist, or song Repeat

When it ends, it starts again!

Select twice to repeat a song.

Play Queue Play Queue

See and control what plays next.

Spotify Connect Connect device

Play to another device.

  • Find Now Playing just above the menu bar. Tap it for a bigger view.

    Can’t see an option?

    In the Now Playing view, tap 3 horizontal dots (iPhone) / 3 vertical dots (Android) to find more options.

  • Click Video vertical to display the Now Playing view. There you can find:

    • About the Artist
    • On Tour
    • Merch
    • Podcast transcripts
    • Next in queue

    Tip: To switch between the Friend Feed and the Now Playing view, click Group active / Video vertical.
