You can choose to hear from us about news, offers, concert recommendations, artist updates, and more.

We also send you security updates for your digital safety.

Email and push notifications

Spotify can notify you by emailing the address registered on your account, and with push notifications to your mobile.

Note: To get push notifications, you need to allow notifications for the Spotify app in your phone settings.

You can manage which email and push notifications you get (or choose not to get any) from your account page.

Unsubscribe from emails

You can remove yourself directly from mailing lists by clicking unsubscribe at the bottom of a Spotify email.

Emails about account activity

We send emails about account activity to help keep your account safe. This includes:

• New logins
• New Family or Duo members

For security, you can’t turn these emails off.

If you see any activity you don’t recognize, go to account takeover help.

Sponsored recommendations

Sponsored recommendations let you easily find new music from artists you love directly in the Spotify app.

If you don’t want these, tap Learn more the next time you see one. From there, you can stop them showing for that artist, or stop them showing altogether.

New podcast episode notifications

You can get push notifications when a podcast releases a new episode:

1. Go to the podcast show page.
2. Tap Follow.
3. Switch Get notified of new episodes on.
