Connecting your Shopify store to Spotify for Artists

Connect your Shopify store to Spotify for Artists to sell merch directly to fans.

If you’re new to Shopify, you can create a store with Shopify’s Starter Plan.

Connecting your Shopify store

1. Log in to artists.spotify.com.
2. Click Merch & Events.
3. Click Connect store.
4. Enter your Shopify store URL(e.g. your-store-name.myshopify.com) and click Link shop.
5. Log in to Shopify and follow the setup steps. You’ll need to add Spotify as a sales channel, accept the terms, and choose the artist to link your store to.

Note: You can only link one Shopify store per artist.

Managing a multi-artist merch store

If you sell merch for multiple artists, you need to manage collections separately in Shopify.

1. Log in to Shopify.
2. Select an artist to add to your roster.
3. Click Add collection.
4. Choose a collection and click Add collection.

You can only add one collection per artist. To sell the same merch for different artists, create a copy of the collection.

You can connect or disconnect as many artists as you want. Artists are searchable and sortable, and if you manage more than five, they’ll appear on additional pages.

Tip: Use the No collection filter to find artists who still need a collection.

Disconnecting a Shopify store

1. Log in to your Shopify store.
2. Go to Spotify for Artists.
3. Click Disconnect.
