Adding a bio to your Spotify artist profile

For: Admins and Editors

Use Spotify for Artists to write and update the bio on your artist profile.

• Write up to 1,500 characters
• Use @tags to link to artists, albums, playlists, and tracks on Spotify
• Paste Spotify links in the text field

• Web browser

  1. Log in to artists.spotify.com.
  2. Click View Profile (on a mobile device, tap first).
  3. Click About.
  4. Click next to Bio.

• Mobile app

  Note: You can’t add social media links to the More info section in the mobile app.

  1. Tap Profile.
  2. Scroll down to About.
  3. Tap ADD or EDIT.

Guidelines

Make sure you follow the Spotify Platform Rules. We’ll remove anything that goes against them.
