Give your playlists a personal touch by adding a cover image.

Go one step further and create your own cover art using the Spotify app.

Create your own cover art

For: Free and Premium on mobile and tablet

• Mobile and tablet

  Go to Your Library .

  1. At the top of the playlist you wish to create art for, tap Edit.
  2. Tap Change playlist cover.
  3. Select Create cover art.
  4. From this screen, you can:
     - Add text to the cover art.
     - Insert your own images to the cover art.
     - Edit the background colors.
     - Add stickers.
  5. When you’re finished, tap Save.
     

  Your playlist will now have the newly created cover art.

  Note: Make sure your picture doesn’t violate any copyright, trademark, or personal image rights.

Add your own image

• Mobile and tablet

  1. Go to Your Library .
  2. At the top of the playlist, tap Edit.
  3. Select Change cover image.
  4. Choose an image then tap Save.

• Desktop and web player

  1. Go to Your Library .
  2. Click the image on a playlist you created.
  3. Choose a photo, then click SAVE.

  Note: Make sure your picture doesn’t violate any copyright, trademark, or personal image rights.

  Display items in Your Library as text

  Use the compact library layout to hide cover images from Your Library.

  1. Click your profile picture at the top and select Settings.
  2. Under Library, switch Use compact library layout on . To view cover images again, switch it off .
