Charged too much

Check the price of your plan in your account page, under Your plan.

Where applicable, the price for Premium includes VAT (Value Added Tax). But in some places, an additional tax such as sales tax may be collected by local governments.

In your account page, you can view a breakdown of your charges under order history:

1. Go to Payment history.
2. Under Your payments, select the payment you want to view.
3. Select Manage, then View receipts.

Note: If you don't see any payments, clear any active filters.

Are you a student?

Premium Student is valid for 12 months from the date you signed up.

When the student discount expires, your plan automatically continues at the standard rate for Premium Individual unless you cancel or apply for another year (with a 4-year limit).

To renew your student discount, go to www.spotify.com/student and log in to your school portal or upload proof of enrollment.

Once you renew, you get the discounted rate for another 12 months.

Paying through a partner?

If you have Premium with a partner company, your payments are managed by them. To contact them, you can find their details on your account page under Payment.
