We send verification emails in these 3 scenarios.
Try the tips relevant to what you’re trying to do.
Changing to a Spotify login
We send a verification email from noreply@hello.creators.spotify.com to the email address on your old Anchor or Spotify for Creators account.
- Make sure you’re checking the right inbox. Click here to see which email your account is under. You can change your email address here if you need.
- Apple, Facebook, or Google. If you log in through Apple, Google, or Facebook, we send the email to the address that account is registered under. Go here to replace this email with another one you own.
- Custom or company email domains. Sometimes our verification emails don’t make it through to email addresses with custom or company domains. Go here to replace your custom or company email with one from a service like Gmail or Outlook.
- Check your spam or junk folder.

Claiming a podcast which is hosted somewhere else
We send a verification email from noreply@hello.creators.spotify.com to the address listed in the <itunes:email> field in your podcast’s RSS feed.
- Make sure it’s an email address you have access to. If not, try using a different email address. Your hosting provider can help you change the email in your feed. If you don’t own the feed, speak to the person who owns that email address to retrieve the code.
- Check your email address isn't hidden or masked. Some hosting providers mask the address in your feed or replace it with a generic one. They can help you expose your email address temporarily to allow you to claim your podcast.
- Custom or company email domains. Sometimes our verification emails don’t make it through to email addresses with custom or company domains. Your hosting provider can help you replace your custom or company email with one from a service like Gmail or Outlook.
