How to use Studio by Spotify Labs

Studio by Spotify Labs is a standalone desktop application where users access a personal agent. Built to work with Spotify, Studio understands your taste, recommends music, and creates personalized podcasts from your inbox, calendar, and more. Tell it what you’d like to hear and how often, and Studio will create it for you on Spotify. You can also message Studio from your phone or tablet, and pick up where you left off on desktop. Usage limits apply.

Desktop

1. Download the Studio app and follow the installation prompts.
2. Open Studio and log in with your Spotify account.
3. Type a request for Kit, such as "make me a 5-minute podcast about news".

Still not working?

Studio by Spotify Labs is available to Premium users who are 18 or older. If you meet these requirements but can't see the feature, ensure your desktop client is updated to the latest version.

Note: This feature is currently not available on the free service.

Tip: You can give your agent a custom name by saying "I want to call you [name]".
