Checking your Spotify app version
If you reach out to one of our Customer Support channels, or if you’re getting help in the Spotify Community, you might be asked to confirm which version of the Spotify app you’re using to help with troubleshooting.
Before you do that, make sure you have the latest version of the app by updating Spotify. Once you’ve done that, here’s how to check the exact version of the app you’re running on your device:
- Open Spotify.
- Tap your profile picture at the top.
- Tap Settings and privacy

- Scroll down and tap About. You’ll find the version number next to Version. You can copy and paste it directly.
