Video analytics
When you publish a video on Spotify, you’ll see video-specific analytics in your episode analytics. These metrics help you understand how viewers engage with your video content.
Viewing video analytics
To view video analytics:
- Log in to creators.spotify.com.
- Go to Episodes.
- Select a video episode.
- Find the Video consumption section.
Note: Video analytics aren’t available on the mobile app.
Understanding video analytics
For each video episode, you’ll see total watch time, average watch time and watch time %.
- Watch time: The amount of time your video episode was visible on a viewer’s screen.
- Total watch time: The total amount of watch time from your total audience.
- Average watch time: The average amount of time that your video episode was visible on a viewer’s screen.
- Watch time %: The time your audience spent time watching vs. listening.
Data refresh
Most analytics update every 15 minutes, but some metrics may take up to 48 hours to refresh in Spotify for Creators.
