Sponsorships analytics
If you’ve booked a new sponsorship or annotated an existing sponsorship using the tools in Spotify for Creators, you’ll receive analytics detailing your sponsorship’s performance on Spotify.
To view your Sponsorships analytics:
- Log into creators.spotify.com
- Find the Sponsorships tab in your sidebar.
- Select the Analytics tab.
Overview
You’ll see initial metrics outlining your overall sponsorships performance at-a-glance.
- Sponsorship impressions: The total number of times a Spotify user played at least a portion of your sponsorship. A single user can generate multiple impressions if they listen to the same sponsorship in separate playback sessions.
- Audience reached: The number of unique Spotify users who played at least a portion of your sponsorship.
- Completion rate: The percentage of impressions where the user played the entire duration of the sponsorship segment. In order to be counted as complete, a viewer or listener’s playback must cover the full length of the segment from its start point to its end point.
Performance
We offer performance analysis based by sponsorship and by episode. All data shown will show the time period you’ve selected.
- Performance by Sponsorship: Rank your sponsorships to see which ones are driving the most impressions, and track their individual completion rates.
- Performance by Episode: Identify which of your episodes are delivering the most sponsorship impressions and how listeners are engaging with sponsorships in those specific episodes. For reference, you’ll also see associated episode-level plays and downloads for the episodes displayed.
Audience
Gain insights into the users engaging with your sponsorships. Your demographic breakdowns are based on the total number of impressions your sponsorships have received.
- Gender and Age: Understand the demographic composition of your sponsorship audience.
- Location: See where in the world your sponsorship impressions are coming from.
Export
You can export analytics under the Sponsorships tab as CSV files. Find the Export to CSV button under the data you’d like to export.
Data
Sponsorship analytics are updated daily. Performance data for a given day is typically available the following business day.
You can filter your data by show and adjust the date range to analyze specific timeframes.
