View lyrics

Sing it with Spotify! See the lyrics of many of your favorite tracks as they’re sung.

Notes:

• The availability of features on Spotify can vary over time, between markets, and across devices depending on the agreements we have in place with our rights holders. Lyrics are now available for Spotify users across both our free and Premium tiers.
• Lyrics may not be available on all songs and devices. New lyrics are added every day, so you may find what you’re looking for in the future.

• Mobile and tablet

  1. Tap the Now playing bar at the bottom of the screen.
     Note: On tablet, tap the album artwork in the side menu.
  2. Scroll down to Lyrics.
  3. Tap the lyrics for a full screen view.

  Share Lyrics

  1. View lyrics in full screen.
  2. Tap  (iOS) / (Android) at the bottom.
  3. Highlight the lyrics by tapping them.
  4. Tap Share and choose a social app.

• Desktop and web player

  1. Play a song.
  2. Click at the bottom.

• Other devices

  You can select to view lyrics.

  Note: Lyrics may not be available on all devices.

View lyrics seamlessly in real time under the album art or over Canvas.

Hide or show Lyrics preview

Lyrics preview is on by default. To hide or show lyrics preview:

1. In the Now Playing view, tap (iOS) / (Android).
2. Tap Lyrics to switch preview off or on. This setting will apply to all tracks with available lyrics.

Note: Lyrics preview is not available on music videos.
