How to hide and unhide songs

You can hide songs in any playlists created by Spotify or others.

They can still be played in other playlists where you haven’t hidden them.

If it’s your own playlist, you can remove songs instead.

• Mobile and tablet

  Hide songs

  1. Select a playlist created by Spotify or by someone else.
  2. Tap (iOS) / (Android) next to the song you want to hide.
  3. Tap Hide this song.

  The song will be grayed out and skipped.

  Unhide songs

  Tap next to the song you want to unhide.

  Or tap (iOS) / (Android), and then tap Show in this playlist.

  Snooze the track within a playlist for 30 days

  1. Select a track.
  2. Tap (iOS) / (Android).
  3. Tap Hide in this playlist.
  4. Tap Don’t suggest this song anywhere for 30 days.

  Tap to unhide the track.

• Desktop

  Hide songs

  1. Select a playlist created by Spotify or by someone else.
  2. Click next to the song you want to hide.

  The song will be grayed out and skipped.

  Unhide songs

  Click next to the song you want to unhide.
