Finding your Spotify artist, track, and release links
Find your artist link
On desktop
- Go to your artist profile.
- Click the 3 dots or right-click your artist name.
- Select Share.
- Select Copy link to artist.
Tip: For help finding your artist profile, search for your artist name together with your track/album name.
On mobile
- Go to your artist profile.
- Tap the 3 dots.
- Tap Share.
- Select Copy link.
Artist profile not live yet?
Ask your label or distributor for the link. They’ll get it when they first deliver your music to us.
Find your track link
On desktop
- Go to your track.
- Click the 3 dots or right-click your track name.
- Select Share.
- Select Copy Song Link.
On mobile
- Go to your track.
- Tap the 3 dots.
- Tap Share.
- Select Copy link.
Track not live yet?
Ask your label or distributor for the link.
Find your release link
On desktop
- Go to your release.
- Click the 3 dots or right-click your release name.
- Select Share.
- Select Copy Album Link.
On mobile
- Go to your release.
- Tap the 3 dots.
- Tap Share.
- Select Copy link.
Release not live yet?
Find it in Spotify for Artists:
- Log in to artists.spotify.com
- Go to Music then Upcoming.
- Click Copy URI.
If you don't see your release there, ask your label or distributor for the link.
URL vs URI
A URI works the same as a URL but uses a different format.
You can easily convert a URL to a URI.
For example:
- URL: open.spotify.com/artist/1a2b3c4d5e6f7g
- URI: spotify:artist:1a2b3c4d5e6f7g
To get your URI:
- Follow the desktop steps.
- Hold the Alt key (Windows) / Option key (Mac).
- Select Copy Spotify URI.
Give your distributor your artist URL
Our preferred and recommended distributors let you include your artist link when delivering music.
If you work with one of these distributors, give them your artist URL or URI to make sure your music lands on the right profile.
