Publishing your audiobook
After you select Submit and Publish, Spotify for Authors starts creating your audiobook automatically.
While your audiobook is processing
Audio is generated for your audiobook in the background. You don’t need to stay on the page while processing finishes.
Publishing to Spotify
When processing is complete, your audiobook is automatically published to Spotify. You don’t need to take any additional action to publish your audiobook.
Most audiobooks are published within 72 hours.
If audiobook creation fails
If audiobook creation fails:
- Your project shows a failed status in your Catalog
- You receive an email notification
Try creating the audiobook again.
If the issue continues, contact support.
Editing your audiobook after publishing
After publishing, you can update your audiobook by creating a new version.
Distributing outside Spotify
After your audiobook is published on Spotify, you can distribute it to other audiobook platforms through INaudio.
To get started:
- Go to your Catalog.
- Select your audiobook.
Choose Manage distribution on INaudio.
