Preview chapters before you publish
Before publishing your audiobook, you can listen to previews of your chapters to review narration and pronunciations.
Listening to chapter previews
During the Content step, Spotify for Authors automatically creates previews for your chapters.
To review a chapter preview, press play next to the chapter.
If a preview isn’t ready yet, it may still be generating. Longer chapters can take additional time to process.
Making pronunciation changes
If you hear a pronunciation issue while reviewing a chapter:
- Return to the pronunciation review step.
- Update the pronunciation.
- Generate the chapter preview again to review your changes.
Chapter previews use your latest saved pronunciation settings.
You can repeat this process as many times as needed before publishing.
Before you publish
After you select Submit and Publish, pronunciations are locked for that audiobook version.
To make pronunciation changes after publishing, you need to create a new version of your audiobook.
