Refund policy

If you don’t want Premium anymore, you can cancel any time and keep what you paid for. Your account will remain on Premium until the end of your billing period.

After that, your account switches to free.

Note: If you cancel during a free trial, you will revert back to free immediately.

As a heads up, we can’t refund:

  • Gift cards bought from a store. It’s best to return them to the store.
  • Premium payments made through a partner, such as iTunes. You can contact them for refund requests (see their details on your account page, under Your plan).
  • If you don’t want Premium anymore, you can cancel any time and keep what you paid for. Your account will remain on Premium until the end of your billing period. After that, your account switches to free.

  • For refunds regarding Audiobook listening hours, see Refund policy for purchased top-ups.

    You may be eligible for an audiobook refund if:

    • The payment was made within the last 7 days
    • The audiobook was removed from Spotify due to policy violations
    • You have purchased a top up and haven’t used any of your listening hours

    Disrupted or lost audiobook listening time may also qualify for refunds.

  • If you have experienced fraud, you may be eligible for a refund.

    If you cancel your podcast subscriptions, you will retain access until the next renewal date.
