Publishing merch from Shopify to Spotify

For: Artist teams on web

After connecting your Shopify store, you can publish up to 250 merch items to Spotify.

Fans can find your merch on your artist profile, release pages, the Now Playing view, and your artist store page. Adding merch across Spotify gives fans more ways to discover it while they’re listening.

Adding merch to Spotify

1. Log in to Shopify.
2. Go to Settings, then click Products and All products.
3. Choose a product.
4. In the Sales channels and apps section, click Manage.
5. Check Spotify, then click Done.
6. Click Save at the top of the page.

Note: It can take up to an hour for your items to appear on Spotify.

To be listed on Spotify, your product must:

• Use plain text and static images (no videos or rich formatting)
• Meet our merch guidelines
• Belong to the artist your store is linked to

You can view all published items by clicking Manage availability in the Product status card in the Spotify for Artists app in Shopify.

When you add new merch in Shopify, make sure to publish it to the Spotify sales channel so fans can see it.
