Data changes after switching to Spotify for Creators
If you’ve recently switched your show’s hosting to Spotify for Creators, you may see some variations in your Spotify plays and streams, downloads from other platforms, or ad impressions.
This can happen for a few different reasons:
- All other listening platforms operate on downloads, while Spotify operates on plays
- You submitted independently to one or more distribution platforms and those streams and downloads aren’t syncing in your Spotify for Creators account
- Our analytics only includes data since after you switched to Spotify for Creators
External platforms track metrics differently, but we measure consistently across those platforms to give you analytics that are representative of your audience.
