Deleting an episode or video

If you upload videos directly to Spotify for Creators or host your podcast with Spotify for Creators, follow the below steps.

If you host your podcast with another host, check with your host about how to delete an episode or remove it from your RSS feed.

On web:

1. Go to Episodes
2. Click the 3 dots next to the episode or video in question, then Delete episode.

On the mobile app:

1. Tap Podcast at the bottom of the screen.
2. Select the episode you want to delete.
3. Tap the 3 dots in the top right and then hit Delete.

You should see your changes reflect on Spotify within 1 hour. If you distribute your show to other platforms, your changes should reflect within 24 hours.

Deleting all your episodes or videos

Shows that are hosted with Spotify for Creators must have at least one published episode or video to remain active.

If you want to delete every published episode or video to give your show a fresh start, we recommend creating and publishing a trailer, teaser, or placeholder episode/video first.
