Streaming in lossless
While you may have your streaming quality set to Lossless, factors such as the stability of your WiFi or mobile data connection, and the availability of sufficient internet bandwidth, can significantly impact whether you actually experience that lossless quality.
We recommend a steady internet connection of 1.5 to 2 Mbps for the best lossless listening experience.
Factors that may impact lossless listening
- Quality of the original recording
- Lossless depends on how the music was originally recorded.
- Lossless-compatible devices
- Check that your device supports lossless playback.
- Connection type
- How you connect to your headphones or speakers (e.g. Bluetooth, Spotify Connect, AUX cable) can impact quality as some methods may not support lossless quality.
