Switching away from Spotify for Creators with a 301 redirect

Complete these steps to move your show from Spotify for Creators to another host:

1. Sign up with your new host.
2. Import your episodes to your new host.
3. Redirect your Spotify for Creators RSS feed to your new feed.

Your new host can help you with steps 1 and 2.

Adding a 301 redirect

A 301 redirect ensures that your listeners on Spotify and other platforms continue to get new episodes of your show after you’ve moved.

On web:

1. Log in to creators.spotify.com.
2. Select Settings. On mobile, you need to tap the 3 lines in the top-right corner to see this option.
3. Find Redirect your podcast.
4. Paste your new RSS feed into the box.
5. Select Redirect.

Note: It’s not possible to redirect your feed from the Spotify for Creators mobile app.

If you monetize your show using Subscriptions, go to your Monetize tab in Spotify for Creators to disable them.

Closing your Spotify for Creators account

It can take up to 7 days for your redirect to complete.

If you'd like to delete your Spotify for Creators account, we recommend waiting at least a week after redirecting your show to make sure you keep your audience.

Note: If you deleted your Spotify for Creators account before redirecting your feed, contact us.
