Removing audiobooks from Spotify

For: Publishers and self-published authors with the Upload audiobook permission. Learn more about access levels

1. Log in to authors.spotify.com
2. Go to Catalog.
3. Select the audiobook you want to remove.
4. Click More… then Deactivate.

What happens next

• It can take up to 72 hours for your audiobook to be removed from Spotify
• Listeners who purchased access to your audiobook on Spotify keep access even after deactivation
• Spotify Premium listeners who started your audiobook can keep listening for up to 30 days after deactivation

To remove audiobooks from other platforms, use Voices by INaudio.

Republishing audiobooks

To republish a deactivated audiobook:

1. Log in to authors.spotify.com
2. Go to Catalog.
3. Select the audiobook you want to remove.
4. Click Reactivate.
