Viewing and understanding royalty payments in Spotify for Authors

Our payment partner Tipalti processes royalty payments for Spotify for Authors.

To view your payment info and the account where you receive your royalties, go to Settings then Payment profile.

The payment method you select can affect:

• The minimum amount you can receive
• Processing fees
• Exchange rate fees

We pay royalties in United States dollars (USD). You can choose to receive them in Canadian dollars (CAD), which is subject to currency exchange fees.

When we pay royalties

When you receive your royalties depends on how listeners accessed your audiobook.

• À la carte audiobooks on Spotify: Paid monthly, typically towards the end of the following month (e.g. January royalties arrive in late February)
• Audiobooks included in Spotify Premium plans: Paid quarterly (e.g. royalties for January–March arrive in April)

Download your Spotify royalty reports from Spotify for Authors.

1. Log in to authors.spotify.com
2. Go to Reports then Royalty Reports.
