Spotify on Alexa devices

Link Spotify to Alexa
- Open the Alexa app.
- Tap More, and then Settings.
- Under Alexa Preferences, select Music & Podcasts.
- Select Link New Service.
- Select Spotify and follow the on-screen instructions.
Linked music services are listed under Manage Services.
Note: You still need to say “on Spotify” at the end of commands to play podcasts.
To unlink
- Open the Alexa app.
- Tap More, and then Settings.
- Under Alexa Preferences, select Music & Podcasts.
- Find and select Spotify.
- Tap Disable Skill.
Set Spotify as the default
You can select Spotify as your default player to use voice commands with Alexa.
- Open the Alexa app.
- Tap More, and then Settings.
- Under Alexa Preferences, select Music & Podcasts.
- Tap Your Default Services.
- Select Spotify and tap DONE.
Note: You still need to say “on Spotify” at the end of commands to play podcasts.
Now just ask Alexa to play something, ex.: “Alexa, play Discover Weekly”.
