Add-ons

An add-on is a recurring paid subscription that gives you access to certain benefits beyond what’s already included in your Premium plan. The particular benefits will depend on the add-on that you choose to purchase.

The Premium plans that allow you to subscribe to an add-on are:

• Premium Individual
• Premium Family
• Premium Duo

Premium Family and Duo plan members can request the plan manager to allocate an add-on to their account, but are unable to purchase directly for themselves.

Notes:

• The add-on cost is billed together with your monthly Premium payment
• When you subscribe to an add-on, your billing date may shift earlier to reflect the updated total
• You can cancel an add-on at any time without cancelling your Premium plan
• If you cancel your Premium plan, any active add-ons will be automatically canceled
• If an account is changed to a managed account, it'll immediately lose access to any add-on(s) and its add-on subscription will be canceled

• Who can’t subscribe to an add-on?

  You’re not eligible to subscribe to add-ons if:

  • You’re on a free trial
  • You’re on a Premium Student or Basic plan
  • You use a non-recurring payment method (i.e: PAYG or gift cards)
  • You have time stacked from a non-recurring subscription on top of a recurring one
  • You pay via a third-party provider (like a mobile carrier), unless using Google Pay Billing

  Note: If you pay with Google Play Billing, you can only purchase Audiobooks+ for one of your plan members.

How to get and manage add-ons

• Mobile

  1. Swipe left or tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Your Premium.
  3. Select Manage.
  4. Select Browse add-ons to see what’s available to you.

• Web

  1. Go to Plans and add-ons.
  2. Go to the Add-ons tab to see what’s available to you.

Available add-ons

• Audiobooks+ adds extra audiobook listening hours to your own Premium plan each month
• Audiobooks+ for Plan Members lets plan managers add audiobook listening time for Duo or Family plan members each month
