Uploading audiobooks to Spotify for Authors

For: Publishers

1. Log in to authors.spotify.com
2. Click + Upload audiobook.
3. Enter your audiobook’s details, audio files, and metadata.

Note: Only certain publishers can upload audiobooks through Spotify for Authors.

Tips and important info

• Audio files should be in mp3, WAV, and FLAC format
• A sample can help draw in potential listeners
• Cover art should be in 1:1 aspect ratio, and we recommend 3000 x 3000 px PNG files
• Write meaningful chapter titles that allow listeners to preview the structure of your book and start listening wherever they want
