Spotify Home screen widget on Android

Launch Spotify from your Android home screen.

To add the widget, you need:

• Android with minimum OS supported version or above
• Spotify app version 8.9.60 or above

Add the Spotify widget

1. On your device's Home, tap and hold the screen.
2. Tap Widgets, then tap Spotify.
3. Tap Add.

Resize the Spotify widget

1. Long press on the widget.
2. Pull one corner to shrink or increase its size.

You can choose a larger size for richer functionality, or a smaller size for more flexibility.

Widget grayed out?

If the widget is grayed out, try these steps:

• Log out of the Spotify app, then log back in
• Update the Spotify app and your device’s operating system
• Restart your device

Still not working?

Remove and re-add the widget, then restart your device again.
