Claiming a podcast which is hosted somewhere else

We send a verification email from noreply@hello.podcasters.spotify.com to the address listed in the <itunes:email> field in your podcast’s RSS feed.

  • Make sure it’s an email address you have access to. If not, try using a different email address. Your hosting provider can help you change the email in your feed. If you don’t own the feed, speak to the person who owns that email address to retrieve the code.
  • Check your email address isn't hidden or masked. Some hosting providers mask the address in your feed or replace it with a generic one. They can help you expose your email address temporarily to allow you to claim your podcast.
