Duo plan

Premium Duo is a discount plan for 2 people who live together.

• Plan members have separate accounts with Premium features
• The plan manager pays for the plan
• The plan manager handles additions and removals for members

Manage Premium Duo

Note: The plan manager can’t be changed once the plan is created.

• Set up your Duo plan

  1. Go to your account page.
  2. Under Manage your plan, select Change Plan (if you’re on Premium), or Join Premium (if you’re on free).
  3. Scroll down and select Premium Duo.
  4. Enter your address and choose your preferred payment method.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions.

  Note: If you already have Premium with a partner company (ex. your phone or internet provider), you first need to cancel with them and wait for your current Premium to end.

• Add or remove Duo members

  The plan manager can invite or remove members on their account page.

Join or leave a Duo plan

Note: Plan members can only switch plans once every 12 months.

You need to be logged into your own Spotify account and have received an invite link to join.

• You need to be living with the plan manager
• Enter the same address as the plan manager upon joining the plan

• Joining a Duo plan as a member

  On desktop

  1. Open the invite link.
  2. Click Accept invite.
  3. Select Yes, continue to confirm you’re accepting the invite with the right account, or select Change account to choose a different one.
  4. Enter the address for your plan, and click Confirm.

• Leaving a Duo plan if you're a member

  On desktop

  1. Go to your account page.
  2. Under Manage your plan, click Change plan.
  3. Click Cancel plan under Available Plans.
  4. Choose Yes, cancel.
