Spotify on Google Home

There’s no place like Google Home with Spotify.

Play high quality tracks, albums, artists, and playlists, both from our catalog and Your Library, simply by speaking to your Google Home device. You can also use voice commands (“OK Google”!) for multi-room playback and to add tracks to Your Library.

Google Assistant

You can also control the Spotify app with your Android phone by using Google Assistant.

You can also make Spotify the default player manually:

  1. In the Google Home app, tap the menu in the top left.
  2. Tap Music.
  3. Select Spotify to set as the default music player for your Google Home.
