Changes to Spotify for Artists historical data

We’ve standardized historical data access across our Spotify for Artists analytics features.

We’ve replaced the ‘Since 2015’ filter with a ‘Last 12 months’ filter in the following places:

• Music tab > Releases
• Music tab > Songs
• Music tab > Playlists
• Audience tab > Overview
• Song pages, including the Playlists tab

Tip: You can still view data from the past 2 years by using the 'Custom' date range filter.

Why we’re making these changes

These changes have made it possible for us to bring exciting new analytics features to Spotify for Artists, such as:

• Custom date range filters on more pages
• New fan segmentation of your active audience
• Data for a wider range of playlists
• More historical data on your Audience > Overview page
• A new roster management view

We've also removed a few analytics features that have low usage, including Similar artists and Compare to other artists.
