Don’t see the Campaigns tab?

You won't see the Campaigns tab if your artist isn’t eligible or your team isn’t based in a supported country. See which markets Marquee and Showcase are available in

You need at least 1,000 streams over the last 28 days in at least one of the target markets. See which markets Marquee and Showcase can target

Check you have enough streams in the target market:

  1. Go to Audience tab Audience then Overview.
  2. Select the market you want to target from the filter.

Don’t see your release?

Check that your release meets these requirements:

  • The release is an album, EP, or single (compilations aren’t eligible)
  • The promoting artist is listed as a main artist on the release
  • The release has no more than 4 main artists
  • The promoting artist or label team has full or split rights for the release
  • The release doesn’t have a general name that describes the performer or content (e.g. "Sleep Music")
  • The release name and artwork comply with our advertising Terms and Conditions
  • The release isn’t a karaoke version, soundalike, remaster, re-recording, spoken word, or white noise
  • The release must meet Spotify’s music content standards

Can't select Marquee?

To run a Marquee campaign, you need at least 5,000 monthly active listeners in your selected target market.

Check that you have enough monthly active listeners in the target market:

  1. Go to Audience tab Audience > Segments.
  2. Select the market you want to target from the filter.
  3. Select monthly active listeners.

Check that your release meets these extra requirements for Marquee:

  • The release is new to Spotify
  • The release isn’t a remix
  • More than 50% of tracks are new to the entity type (album, single, or EP)
  • The campaign starts within 21 days of the release date in the promoted target market

Creating sub-campaigns

A sub-campaign is an individual flight within a larger campaign.

One campaign can have up to 15 sub-campaigns, all tied to the same release.

You can set up sub-campaigns for different formats (Marquee or Showcase), markets, audiences, start dates, and budgets — and track and manage them all in one place.

You can easily duplicate sub-campaigns and make adjustments to them by clicking More options next to a sub-campaign then Duplicate.

For example, to promote the same release in the US, Colombia, and Canada, you can create multiple sub-campaigns targeting each market, all housed within one campaign.

Each sub-campaign requires a minimum budget of $100.

Note: Duplicating sub-campaigns across the same market or audience segment may affect how many listeners your campaign can reach. We’ll alert you on the campaign setup page if your duplicated sub-campaign doesn’t meet the requirements in your new target market or audience segment.
