Changing to a Spotify login

If you host your podcast with Spotify for Creators, changing to a Spotify login gives you access to our team management feature and allows you to manage multiple shows under a single Spotify account.

Note: If you don’t host your podcast with Spotify for Creators, your login method already uses a Spotify account.

How to change your login

Click the banner on your Spotify for Creators dashboard to get started.

Alternatively, follow these steps:

On web:

  1. Go to the Spotify for Creators login page and click Haven't updated your account yet? Log in with Anchor.
  2. Use your existing credentials to log in.
  3. Click Settings then Account.
    Note:
If you don’t see this option, click your avatar then Account settings.
  4. Click Link your account.

After you've changed your login to Spotify, you'll use the same username/email and password to log in to both Spotify and Spotify for Creators.

Which Spotify account to use

You can use any Spotify account.

We recommend using the same personal Spotify account you use to listen to music and podcasts. Using your personal account won’t give anyone access to it or change your playlists or personalization.

If you prefer, you can create a separate Spotify account for managing your shows.

If you don’t have a Spotify account, create one for free here.

Spotify Payouts

If you've set up Spotify Payouts by connecting a Spotify account, we recommend keeping the same Spotify account for your login.

If you decide to use a different Spotify account, you’ll need to set up Spotify Payouts again.

Adding another show

If you have more than one show, you can put them all on the same Spotify account and manage them from a single dashboard.
