Authors and publishers can customize author profiles on Spotify with an image and a bio.

Customizing an author profile

Publishers:

1. Log in to authors.spotify.com
2. Go to Authors.
3. Select an author.
4. Hit Profile.

Authors:

1. Log in to authors.spotify.com
2. Go to Profile.

Inviting your publisher to customize your author profile

We're excited to let authors control the way they show up on Spotify.

When an author joins Spotify for Authors, they gain control of their image and bio. You can either customize your profile yourself, or choose one of the publishers you work with to take control.

To choose a publisher:

1. Log in to authors.spotify.com
2. Go to Profile.
3. Hit Manage permissions.
4. Select the publisher you’d like to manage your author profile.

Missing author profiles

Your Spotify author profile is created when you add an image or bio via Spotify for Authors and hit Submit.

It can take a few hours for a newly created author profile to appear on Spotify.

We may take down an author profile if its content violates our guidelines.
