Spotify for Authors

Spotify for Authors is our new platform for authors and publishers to manage their audiobooks on Spotify.

It includes the catalog management and royalty reporting features of Passport, plus new insights and analytics about your audience on Spotify.

Getting access to Spotify for Authors

You need a Spotify account to use Spotify for Authors.

Don’t have an account? You can create one for free

Ask your admin to invite you to your team in Spotify for Authors.

Which Spotify account to use

You can use any Spotify account, but we recommend using one with your business email address.

If your Spotify account uses a personal email, here’s how to change your email address.

PASSPORT by INaudio

Use PASSPORT by INaudio to manage the distribution of your audiobooks to other listening platforms like Apple Books, Google Play Books, and Audible.

Note: If you don’t have an agreement to distribute directly to Spotify, you can also use PASSPORT by INaudio to get your audiobooks on Spotify.

It includes the catalog management and royalty reporting features of Passport, with new features coming soon.
