Finding and enabling your RSS feed

Your RSS feed is a file that contains everything about your podcast — titles, descriptions, audio file links, artwork, and more.

Finding your RSS feed

If your podcast is hosted with Spotify for Creators, your RSS feed is created when you publish your first episode.

  1. Log in to creators.spotify.com.
  2. Click Settings then Availability (on a mobile device, tap Open the menu first).
  3. Scroll down to RSS Distribution to see your RSS feed.
Note: You won't see this section until you've published your first episode.

If you use another hosting platform, contact them to get your RSS feed.

Enabling your feed

If your podcast is hosted with Spotify for Creators, it's automatically published to Spotify.

To share your podcast on other listening platforms like Apple Podcasts, you need to enable your feed.

Follow the steps above to go to Settings > Availabiity and enable your feed.

Before enabling your RSS feed, keep these things in mind:

  • Your email address becomes public. Anyone with a link to your feed will see your email. Some platforms use your email to verify your account.
  • You need to submit your podcast to other listening platforms — we don't distribute automatically. Learn how to submit your show
  • Some platforms may scrape your feed without your knowledge. This means your show may be listed on podcast aggregators you didn't submit it to.

Note: We can’t remove your podcast from third-party platforms that scrape your feed. Even after your podcast is deleted, your listing may remain in their directories.
