Spotify Radio

Spotify Radio picks the music for you, so you can sit back and listen to the music you love.

Create a Radio station with any song, album, artist, or playlist and Spotify will play music based on that. You can then personalize the station as you listen to make it match your taste.



Pick a device below to learn how.
  1. Click Radio.
  2. Click CREATE NEW STATION.
  3. Enter a track, artist, or playlist, then select it to get started.

Note: Some tracks, artists, or playlists might not be available in Spotify Radio. 

Tip: You can also start Radio stations from elsewhere in the app. Just right-click a song, album, artist, or playlist, and select Go to (Song/Album/Artist/Playlist) Radio.

Save a Radio station

On the Station page, click FOLLOW.

You can now find it in Your Library under Stations

Remove a Radio station

On the Stations page, right-click the station and select Unfollow.

Personalize your stations

Click the thumbs up or thumbs down icons when a track is playing and the station improves to match your tastes. 

  1. Right-click a song, album, or playlist.
  2. Select Start Radio.

Note: Some tracks, artists, or playlists might not be available in Spotify Radio.

: The web player features a simplified version of Spotify Radio. To enjoy it fully, we’d recommend downloading the Spotify app.

  1. Tap Radio  in the menu at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Tap the New Station button.
  3. Enter a track, artist, or playlist in the search box.
  4. Tap the song you’d like to start with.

On the Station page, tap FOLLOW.

You can now find it in Your Library under Stations

Delete a Radio Station

  1. In Stations, tap Edit in the top-right corner. 
  2. Tap  to the left of the station and tap DELETE
