Spotify Radio

Note: If you don’t see Radio on the menu but can see Music, you can find Radio in Music.

Spotify Radio lets you sit back and listen to music you love. The more you personalize the stations to match your tastes the better they get.

Mac

  1. Open Spotify.
  2. Click Radio on the left.
  3. Click New Station.
  4. Enter a track, artist, or playlist then select it to get started.

All done! You can create up to twenty stations at a time.

To skip a track, just click Next.

Personalize your stations
Just click thumbs up or thumbs down when a track is playing and the station improves to match your tastes.

Delete unwanted stations
Simply hover over the station you’d like to delete and click the X in the top corner.

 

Windows

  1. Open Spotify.

iPhone

  1. Open Spotify.
  2. Tap the Menu () button in the top left corner.
  3. Tap Radio.
  4. Tap the new station button.
  5. Enter a track, artist, or playlist in the search box and select it to start playing.
  6. With Spotify Premium, you start playing from any track. Tap the song you’d like to start with.
  7. To save a Radio Station, tap FOLLOW. Tap again to unfollow.

Followed Radio Stations appear in Your Music.

  1. Tap the Menu button in the top left corner.
  2. Tap Your Music.
  3. Tap Stations.

Here you’ll see your followed Stations. Tap the new station button () to search for artists, albums, tracks, and playlists to base a Station on.

To remove a Station:

  1. Tap Edit in the top right corner.
  2. Tap the minus symbol next to the Station name.
  3. Tap Delete.

iPad

  1. Open Spotify.
  2. Tap Radio on the left.
  3. Tap the new station button
  4. Enter a track, artist, or playlist in the search box then select it to get started.

Simply hold a station for a few seconds. When the stations start to shake, click the X in the top corner of the one you'd like to remove.

Android

  5. Enter a track, artist, or playlist in the search box and select it to start playing.
  6. With Spotify Premium, you start playing from any track. Tap the song you’d like to start with.

Followed Radio Stations appear in Your Music.

  1. Tap the Menu button in the top left corner.
  2. Tap Your Music.
  3. Tap Stations.

Here you’ll see your followed Stations. Tap +Create New Station to search for artists, albums, tracks, and playlists to base a Station on.

To unfollow a Station:

  1. Tap the three dots next to a Station name.
  2. Select Unfollow this Station.

To skip tracks, tap Back () or Next (). Free users can skip six tracks every hour. Upgrade for unlimited skips.

 

WinPhone

  1. Open Spotify.
