Authors and publishers can customize author profiles on Spotify with an image and a bio.

Customizing an author profile

Publishers and self-published authors:

1. Log in to authors.spotify.com
2. Go to Authors.
3. Select an author.
4. Hit Profile.

Authors who work with a publisher:

1. Log in to authors.spotify.com
2. Go to Profile.

Don’t see the Profile tab? Ask your team admin to give the Author profile permission in Spotify Manage. Learn more about access levels

Inviting your publisher to customize your author profile

Authors can choose who manages their profile on Spotify.

When you join Spotify for Authors, you can edit your image and bio or choose a publisher to manage your profile for you.

To choose a publisher:

1. Log in to authors.spotify.com
2. Go to Profile.
3. Hit Manage permissions.
4. Select the publisher you want to manage your profile.

Missing author profiles

Your Spotify author profile is created when you add an image or bio via Spotify for Authors and hit Submit.

It can take a few hours for a new author profile to appear on Spotify.

We may take down an author profile if its content violates our terms, policies, or guidelines.
