Redemption codes

Share redemption codes with your friends, family, collaborators, and others to give them a free copy of your audiobook on Spotify.

Note: You don’t earn royalties from any free copies of your audiobook.

Generating redemption codes

If an audiobook is self-published, the author can generate codes.

If an audiobook is published by a publisher, only the publisher can generate codes. If you’re the author, speak to your publisher about generating codes for you.

1. Log in to authors.spotify.com
2. Select an audiobook from Catalog, then click Redemption codes.
3. Enter the number of codes you want, then click Generate.

You can generate up to 100 codes per audiobook.

Each code can only be redeemed once.

You can only generate redemption codes for audiobooks that are available on Spotify.

Listeners can redeem codes at authors-direct.com/spotify

Listeners in these countries can redeem codes - as long as the book has the rights to be sold in that country:

When redeeming codes, listeners should:

• Make sure they're logged in to their Spotify account. They can check which account they're logged in to at accounts.spotify.com
• Disable any popup blockers they're running
