Mix your playlists by adding seamless and customizable transitions between songs.

How to create a Mixed playlist

1. Open a playlist you created.
2. Tap Mix to apply Auto transitions for all tracks.

Each song will then display the BPM (beats per minute) and Song Key.

If you’d like to customize your transitions, follow the steps in Edit your playlist transitions below.

Add stickers to your mixed playlist cover

Make your mixed playlists stand out even more with mixed edition stickers for your playlist cover art.

Note: You'll only see mixed edition stickers in the Create cover art feature if your playlist has Mix enabled with Auto or customized transitions.

Sharing and listening to mixed playlists

Mixed playlists can be shared to friends as you would other content on Spotify.

• On Premium, you can listen to the playlist with transitions.
• On the free version, you can only listen to it as a regular playlist.

You can listen to mixed playlists on speakers and other devices via Bluetooth, but they play as regular playlists when using Spotify Connect.
