Creating a Spotify for Authors account

Spotify for Authors is now available for all Findaway Voices authors who’ve distributed at least one active book to Spotify.

Signup is quick and easy. Once you have an account, you’ll be able to access Spotify-specific tools for your entire catalog on Spotify - not only the titles you distribute through Findaway Voices:

• Customize your Spotify author profile
• Share redemption codes
• Get access to Spotify audience insights and view more insights not available in Findaway Voices

Note: If you have a publisher, access to certain features may rely on their permission.

Creating an account

You’ll see a banner at the top of your Findaway Voices account if you’ve been invited to Spotify for Authors.

Click Get started to begin, then log in to your Spotify account or create one for free.

Once you’ve connected your account, you can log in at authors.spotify.com using your Spotify account.

Note: You’ll still use Findaway Voices for uploading and distributing your audiobooks, as well as royalty reports. Your Findaway Voices login details won’t change. Beginning August 1, 2025, self-published authors will be able to upload and distribute audiobooks to Spotify via Spotify for Authors.

Don’t see the banner?

Spotify for Authors is only available to authors who currently have at least 1 active book on Spotify distributed through Findaway Voices.

If you've recently submitted an audiobook, you may need to wait a few days for the banner to appear.
