Changing podcast or show categories on Spotify

A few things determine the categories your podcast or show appears in on Spotify:

• The <itunes:categories> field in your RSS feed
  Tip: If you host your podcast with Spotify for Creators, you can update your category from your Settings.
• If you upload your podcast through Spotify for Creators, you can choose categories when you submit your podcast or show
• Our editorial team curates categories your show may appear in

Note: Chart categories are different to podcast categories elsewhere in the app. Check out Podcast charts for more info.
