When your music appears in Upcoming
Music appears in the Upcoming tab after your label or distributor delivers it to Spotify.
It can take around 48 hours to show from when you submitted it via your distributor to Spotify.
If you don’t see your release, check with your distributor to make sure they sent it to the right artist profile.
Some types of releases don’t appear in Upcoming:
- Compilations which contain tracks from multiple artists, or tracks from different previously-released albums
- Releases you’re a featured artist on
- Releases you’re only listed on at track-level but not release-level
Release dates and times
The date shown in the Upcoming tab is the earliest date the release becomes available in any country.
For example:
- A release is set to go live at the same time worldwide: 12:00 AM UTC on January 1. In some western time zones it's still December 31 at that time, so we show December 31 as the release date in Spotify for Artists.
- A release is set to go live at 12:00 AM local time in each country or region on January 1. We show January 1 as the release date in Spotify for Artists.
Depending on your time zone, the release date you see might differ from the one you set.
Your label or distributor can help you change or confirm your release date or time.
Reporting a release that doesn't belong to you
