Distributing your show to other platforms

If you host your show with Spotify, we automatically make it available to listeners and viewers on Spotify.

To reach platforms beyond Spotify - like Apple Podcasts or Amazon Music - you need to submit your show to each service yourself.

Note: You’ll need your RSS feed, found in Settings > Availability. Learn more about RSS feeds

Steps for submitting your show

We have steps for submitting your show to these platforms:

If a platform isn’t listed, check that platform’s help center for submission steps.

What to expect after you submit

  • How long it takes: Most platforms publish your show within a few hours, but some review shows manually first. If your show isn’t live after a few days, contact that platform's support team.
  • New episodes: New or updated episodes usually appear everywhere within a few hours, but allow up to 24 hours.
  • Links: Each platform gives your show its own URL. You generally can’t edit these links with a vanity or custom URL.
  • Video: Videos and video episodes are only available on Spotify. These episodes will be audio-only on other platforms.
  • Music + Talk: Episodes that contain songs from Spotify's catalog are only available to listeners on Spotify.
  • Platforms you didn't submit to: Some third‑party apps scrape public RSS feeds, so your show might appear on services you didn’t submit to. Contact them if you want it removed.
  • Duplicate versions: If you see multiple versions of your show on a platform, contact us to get one of the versions removed.

Shows hosted somewhere else

If you use another hosting service (e.g. Buzzsprout, Libsyn, or Podbean), follow our guide to getting your show on Spotify.
