What this setting does

When you turn off the setting, kids and family music stops influencing your personalized recommendations and listening insights. Your Home feed, personalized playlists (such as Discover Weekly and Daily Mixes), and Wrapped will reflect your own music taste, without the influence of kids and family music.

You can still search for and play kids and family music anytime. This setting only changes how those streams shape your recommendations - it doesn't block or hide any content.

Create a managed account for your young listener: Managed accounts offer a music experience designed for children to explore independently, while giving parents and guardians tools to guide and shape their listening. Set up a managed account.

Note: Exclusion of kids and family music from your taste profile can take up to 48 hours to take full effect. Some weekly recommendation playlists such as Discover Weekly may not be affected until they refresh the following week.
