Faulty audio or inaccurate metadata
If a song, podcast, or audiobook on Spotify isn’t playing correctly, you can report it to us.
Before submitting a report, please follow the steps below to make sure it’s not a technical issue:
- Make sure your app is up-to-date.
- Play the track on a different device or with our web player.
- Play the track on a different WiFi or data connection.
- If it’s not a technical issue, contact us.
If you’re an artist and your song, album, or artist profile displays incorrect information, then your label or distributor can help fix this problem.
If you’re a podcaster and your podcast is displaying incorrect information, your licensor can help you change this information. If you’re hosted with Spotify, you can do it yourself.
If you’re not the rightsholder, you can still report inaccurate information seen on music, podcasts, or audiobooks by contacting us.
