Linking topics, guests and content on Spotify
You can manage or remove topics and guests from your episodes. You can also insert and manage links to content on Spotify from your show’s episodes.
Topics and guests are automatically determined by Spotify and are shown in Spotify for Creators for you to remove if you’d like.
You can additionally link to the following types of content on Spotify, from your episodes:
- Other episodes
- Other shows
- Playlists
- Audiobooks
- Albums
- Tracks
- Artists
Managing topics and guests
You won’t be able to manually add topics or guests, but you can remove the topics or guests determined by Spotify.
Topics and guests may not appear for every episode.
A linked guest will not link to other pages in Spotify, but it will show your audience what other content your guest has appeared on.
On web:
- Log in to creators.spotify.com
- Go to Episodes and click the episode you want to edit.
- Head to the Details tab and find Topics or Guests.
- Select Edit.
- Archive or reorder the topics or guests that Spotify has determined.
- Click Save.
Managing linked content
You can add up to 10 links to content on Spotify. If you have trouble finding the type of content you’re looking for, make sure it’s available on your Spotify app.
On web:
- Log in to creators.spotify.com
- Go to Episodes and click the episode you want to add or edit linked content for.
- Head to the Details tab and find In this episode.
- Find or edit the content you’d like to appear on your episode in Spotify. Note: To find the content you’re looking for quickly, you can paste a Spotify link in the search box.
- Click Save.
You can also add or edit linked content when you publish a new episode, by finding In this episode and finding or editing the content you’d like to appear on your episode in Spotify.
If you do include linked content, the content will not link back to your show if your audience clicks on a link. As an example, if you link a playlist to one of your episodes and your audience selects it, they won’t find links back to your show on the playlist you’ve linked.
